ABC/Image Group LADierks Bentley has a history of delivering memorable tour preview videos, and this year’s edition certainly doesn’t disappoint. He’s even enlisted Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon to join in on the madness.
“I am obsessed with skating’s newest star: Dierks Bentley,” the bronze medalist and Dancing with the Stars winner tweeted,” adding a couple laugh-until-you-cry emojis. “You are such a beauty my friend.”
Rippon also posted a nearly two-minute 2019 Burning Man Tour ON ICE promo. In the video, Dierks sports a bedazzled, low-cut, feather-fringed see-through shirt he very well might have borrowed from the champion figure skater.
In the clip, Dierks spins, dances, twirls, and even releases a dove, as an over-the-top narrator speaks over an electronic version of Dierks’ hit “Burning Man.” He also does some couples skating with openers Jon Pardi and Tenille Townes, who even breathe fire in the outrageous parody.
Dierks didn’t waste much time responding to Rippon: “Studied a lot of your routines…and watched a lot of Blades of Glory! Ha,” he shared on social media. “Love to see you out at one of our shows.”
“I’ll pack my my skates, feathers and lace in case you want a have skate-off. Thanks Adam!” he added.

The trek kicks off January 17 in Hamilton, Ontario, in Townes’ native Canada — without the figure skating, we assume.
