ABC/Image Group LAThis week, Eric Church is launching the second single from his Desperate Man album, “Some of It,” as he gets ready to set his Double Down Tour in motion this Friday night.
The North Carolina native sings about what matters in life on “Some of It,” the follow-up to his record’s title track.
“I think it’s really interesting that the album took on an identity that allowed ‘Some Of It’ to make it from where it started to where it is now, and it just fit in the dialogue,” Eric explains. “To me, it made the album.”
On Friday, Eric launches his 18-city trek with two nights in Omaha, Nebraska. Just as he did on 2017’s Holdin’ My Own Tour, Eric will have no opening act, but this time, he’ll do two concerts in each city. The one exception is his May 25 stop in Nashville, where he’ll play Nissan Stadium.
