ABC/Image Group LAAfter a blockbuster 2018 that saw both “Tequila” and “Speechless” go to the top of the chart, Dan + Shay are now on the path to international stardom. They’re currently in the middle of a six-show run in the United Kingdom with multiple sold-out dates.
The latest album from Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney features a duet with Kelly Clarkson on the track “Keeping Score.” Even though Kelly wasn’t there Saturday night to sing her part in Manchester, England, the sold-out crowd was more than happy to help out.
“Hey Kelly Clarkson, they know our song in Manchester, England!” Dan + Shay tweeted, along with a short video of the audience singing the lyrics at the top of their lungs.
“YES!!!! I love Manchester!!” Kelly responded. “I hope y’all are having so much fun there! Wish I could have been there to sing it with y’all.”
So far, Dan + Shay haven’t revealed what their follow-up single to “Speechless” will be.
Meanwhile, they have three more stops on their U.K. trek: Tuesday in Bristol, Wednesday in Cambridge, and Thursday in London.
They kick off their Spring 2019 tour of the U.S. with Morgan Evans February 28 in New Orleans. Every date on the tour is sold out.
