ABC/Image Group LAScotty McCreery returned from the final weekend of his Seasons Change Tour only to discover some bad news.
“Get back to Nashville to find my truck broken into,” he tweeted Tuesday morning, along with a picture of his passenger seat. It was filled with a couple of CDs and chargers, and it had obviously been rifled through.
The American Idol winner seems to be approaching it with his typical laid-back attitude and sense of humor, though.
“Just want to apologize to whoever did this,” he continued. “You really picked the wrong country singer’s truck to break into. Got nothing for ya… That is, unless you’re a big fan of Elvis or the O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack.”
Those happen to be the two discs you can see in the seat of the truck. The vehicle itself, by the way, is likely still the same one Scotty got when he won American Idol, and it’s one of his prized possessions.
On a brighter note, Scotty’s latest single, “This Is It,” continues its climb up the country chart, sitting at #3 this week.
