ABC/Image Group LALuke Combs is moving into Tim McGraw territory: This week, the “Hurricane” hitmaker becomes the first artist to have two songs in Billboard’s top ten in more than 19 years. The last time that happened, it was Tim who notched the honor.
The week of January 15, 2000, Tim’s songs “My Best Friend” and “Something Like That” were at #5 and #10, respectively. This week, Luke dominates Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, as “She Got the Best of Me” hangs on at #8 and “Beautiful Crazy” rises to #10.
“She Got the Best of Me” also happens to be Luke’s fourth consecutive number one.
Thursday night, the North Carolina native kicks off his sold-out Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour in Birmingham, Alabama.
