ABC/Image Group LACarly Pearce happens to be one-half of one of the most romantic couples in country music right now, after getting engaged to fellow artist Michael Ray in December.
Even though she’s head-over-heels in love, the “Closer to You” hitmaker says in a perfect world, we wouldn’t need a holiday for everybody to feel appreciated.
“I think any time you can celebrate love is wonderful,” Carly explains. “But, do I think that there needs to be a day where somebody should feel so inclined to make you feel special?”
“No, I think you should feel special every day,” she answers.
But that doesn’t mean Carly’s not looking forward to whatever surprises the “Kiss You in the Morning” singer may have up his sleeve.
“I feel special every day,” she points out. “But, I mean, do I want maybe some flowers on Valentine’s Day? Yeah!” she laughs.
While Carly and Michael haven’t revealed exactly when they plan to tie the knot, Carly did recently reveal on her socials that she’s picked out her wedding dress.
