ABC/Image Group LALittle Big Town’s currently working on their next album, but this time, they’re doing things a little differently: For the first time, they’re producing the project themselves.
“Diplomacy goes a long way,” Jimi Westbrook tells Billboard, since the foursome typically needs to come to a consensus on decisions.
This time, they’re also using their road band to cut the tracks.
“And they don’t settle,” Kimberly Schlapman says of the musicians’ tenacity in the studio.
So far, there’s no word on when we might get the first taste of new music from LBT. The new record will be the follow-up to 2017’s The Breaker.
The band’s currently on the Canadian leg of The Breakers Tour with Midland and Ashley McBryde.
