BMLGFlorida Georgia Line‘s fourth studio album arrives today, boasting a title track that Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley not only believe is a smash — it’s also meant to settle the question of the duo’s country cred.
“‘Can’t Say I Ain’t Country’ is what we like to call just a no-brainer,” Tyler explains. “It just feels like a hit. It’s a fun song.”
“And you know what? At the end of the day,” he adds, “BK and I are about as country as it gets, regardless of what you may think. We grew up in the country, we love the country. That’s kind of where our roots are from.”

“‘Can’t Hide Red’ is every redneck’s anthem,” Tyler points out. “Man, we’ve had so much fun recording that one. It kind of started as a joke song, to be honest. And then it turned into a rocker that we couldn’t deny and couldn’t not put on this album.”
“We just had to call one of our favorite redneck buddies and try to get him on this song,” Tyler continues, referring to the three-time ACM Entertainer of the Year. “He heard it, he was pumped about it, and it’s the perfect fit. He crushed this song, and it wouldn’t be the same without him on it.”
Can’t Say I Ain’t Country includes FGL’s #1 “Simple,” as well as their current hit, “Talk You Out of It.”
