ABC/Mark LevineReba McEntire will be living up to the title “host with the most” in the next few weeks: She has three high-profile gigs coming up.
In addition to anchoring the Academy of Country Music Awards for the sixteenth time on April 7, she’ll also help reveal the three new inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville on Monday.
Then the following Saturday, she’ll host Celebrity Fight Night in Phoenix for the fifteenth time. The March 23 fundraiser benefits the Alzheimer’s and Memory Disorders Program and Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute, among other charities.
Since it started in 1994, Celebrity Fight Night has evolved from a sports event to an evening of music that also includes a live auction.
This year’s gala at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa will honor Quincy Jones, with Barry Manilow set to headline the night. David Foster will direct the music for the 20th year, with Michael W. Smith, Rita Wilson, and Brian McKnight also set to perform.
