Former Bachelor bride-to-be Lauren Bushnell has relocated from Los Angeles to Nashville and moved into a downtown condo with the “I Don’t Know About You” hitmaker.
Coincidentally, Chris has long been an avid fan of the ABC reality series. Lauren finished season twenty in 2016 by accepting Ben Higgins’ proposal, though they later broke up.
“Lauren moving to Nashville has been the best thing for our relationship,” Chris tells People. “It’s been such an easy transition and she makes each day even better.”
“There is nothing like waking up next to the person I love,” he adds, “going about my day — working out and working on music — and then coming back home to her! I’m a lucky guy.”
The pair first stepped out in public as a couple in November at the BMI Awards in Music City, but it turns out they’d actually been friends for years. According to Chris, their romance developed on a “random trip” to the Bahamas.
He took her home to meet his parents in Kernersville, North Carolina in December.
