ABC/Image Group LAThere’s a new member of Carrie Underwood’s family — no, not her new baby Jacob. This time, it’s a horse named Bojangles.
“Every cowboy needs a horse… and a hat,” the “Love Wins” hitmaker shared on Instagram, along with photos of her husband Mike Fisher enjoying both.
“I’m still working with him on the Southern accent,” she said of her Canadian-born, ex-hockey-player spouse, adding, “Meet Bojangles… newest addition to the Fisher family!”
Mike posted a photo of himself posting with his new acquisition — wearing a baseball cap instead of the cowboy gear — on his own Insta.
“Ever since I was a kid I’ve always wanted horses,” he explained. “Today I got my first! Bojangles is finally home!”
It sounds like at least one more equine member of the Fisher clan is on the way, too: Mike added “He’ll have a dancing partner in a couple days.”
Carrie and Mike now have more room for livestock, since moving to one-thousand acres in Franklin, Tennessee, just south of Nashville. Jacob joined the family in January; the couple also have four-year-old Isaiah.
