Atlantic/Warner NashvilleAshley McBryde’s been nominated for a Grammy and two Academy of Country Music Awards — but now, she has a shot at a Daytime Emmy.
The “Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega” hitmaker is up for Outstanding Musical Performance in a Daytime Program for singing her current single, “Girl Goin’ Nowhere,” plus her song “American Scandal,” on CBS This Morning Saturday.
“Holy crap! What is life right now!?!” the critical favorite reacted on social media. “Thank you so much.”
Both tunes are from her Grammy-nominated major label debut, Girl Going Nowhere. If you missed Ashley’s award-worthy performances from late December, you can watch them via Facebook and YouTube.
In the past, both Trisha Yearwood and Little Big Town have taken home the coveted trophies.
The 46th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be handed out Sunday, May 5 at California’s Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
Next month, the Arkansas native is up for both New Female Artist and Female Artist of the Year at the ACMs in Las Vegas.
