Broken BowGarth Brooks has invited new country group King Calaway to open for him May 3 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
It’ll be the first time the six-man band has ever played a venue so large.
“Garth is a country music icon and a huge inspiration to us,” vocalist and guitarist Caleb Miller says. “It is an honor to even be mentioned in the same sentence as him, let alone stand on the same stage.”
“This will be our first ever stadium show,” he reveals, “and we absolutely cannot contain our excitement!”
King Calaway just released their debut single, “World for Two,” from their self-titled debut EP, which came out in January.
This weekend, the band heads for Vegas, where they’ll take part in the Academy of Country Music’s Party for a Cause. They’re set to play Friday night’s ACM Songs, Stories & Stars show at the MGM Grand.
