ABC/Image Group LAIf you put out enough “Good Vibes,” they eventually put up a sign in your hometown honoring you. At least that’s the case for Chris Janson, whose Missouri birthplace did just that this weekend.
“Welcome to Perryville: Home of Grand Ole Opry Member Chris Janson,” the sign reads.
The “Buy Me a Boat” and “Fix a Drink” hitmaker thanked Perry County Heritage Tourism for the honor and the home folks for “[standing] in my corner for my whole 33 years of being alive.”
On Sunday, Chris took home the Video of the Year trophy for “Drunk Girl” at the 54th ACM Awards.
Friday, Chris takes his “Good Vibes” to the Tortuga Music Festival in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
