ABC/Image Group LADierks Bentley does a whole lot of “Living” with his son Knox in his new music video.
Shot over two days in Nashville, the clip starts with the five-year-old bounding into bed to wake his sleeping dad. Dierks eventually shakes off his grogginess to join Knox in doing pretty much everything a five-year-old would think is fun: karate, Go-Karts, playing with puppies, singing karaoke, going to a water park and even more.
“’Living’ certainly celebrates life’s big moments and adventures,” Dierks says, “but for me it’s even more about being intentional and present in everyday moments.”
“Knox is at that age where he can still find the biggest joy in the smallest things,” he adds, “and that childlike appreciation for life is the spirit I wanted to bring to this video, to remind us of difference between just being alive and actually living.”
“Living” is the third single from Dierks’ The Mountain album, following his number ones “Burning Man” with Brothers Osborne and “Woman, Amen.”
