ABC/Image Group LABrett Young’s “Here Tonight” might have ended Luke Combs’ seven-week run at the top of Billboard’s Country Airplay chart this week, but Luke can still say he’s scored the second most popular song in that chart’s history.
Two songs are tied for the longest reign on the Country Airplay chart: 2003’s “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” by Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett and 1999’s “Amazed” by Lonestar both spent eight weeks at number one.
Meanwhile, “Beautiful Crazy” is still hanging on at #1 on a different Billboard chart: the Hot Country Songs tally.
Luke’s fans are now waiting to see how he’ll follow up his monster hit from his debut album, This One’s for You.
