Mercury NashvilleThe day Maddie & Tae fans have waited for is finally here: One Heart to Another, the follow-up to their 2015 debut, it out now.
“The amount of gratitude I feel towards our fans is indescribable,” Maddie reflects. “We’ve waited four long years to release new music, and so have they.”
“This EP is not only a collection of songs to us,” she continues, “but a reminder that dedication, passion, and perseverance always pays off. This feels so surreal, and it’s only the beginning.”
Tae echoes her feelings, adding, “This collection of songs is our unfiltered story and we’re so proud to tell it.”
“Over the past couple of years, we’ve experienced love, pain, redemption and everything in between,” Tae reveals. “And we wouldn’t change a thing.”
The five-song EP features the duo’s new single, “Die from a Broken Heart.”
They’ve also just put out a lyric video for the one track they didn’t write: the sassy “New Dog, Old Tricks.” You can check it out on YouTube.
Next Wednesday the CMA-winning duo kicks off Carrie Underwood’s Cry Pretty Tour in Greensboro, North Carolina.
