ABC/Image Group LAMonday was Morgan Wallen’s birthday, and he started the week with a pretty good birthday present: His latest hit, “Whiskey Glasses,” hit the top of the Hot Country Songs chart on Billboard.
“Whiskey Glasses” replaces Luke Combs‘ “Beautiful Crazy,” which spent an impressive 11 weeks at the top of this particular ranking.
“My first #1 on the Hot Country Songs chart happened on my 26th birthday. This is truly a day I’ll never forget,” Morgan tells the publication.
His previous single, “Up Down” with Florida Georgia Line, made it to the top of Billboard’s Country Airplay chart last year.
You can check out a new live video of “Whiskey Glasses” on YouTube now, while the song’s original music video is up for Breakthrough Video of the Year at next month’s CMT Music Awards.
Morgan also hits the road with FGL on their Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour in June as well.
