ABC/Image Group LADierks Bentley played for more than 48,000 fans this weekend, as he kicked off the summer leg of his Burning Man Tour with stops in Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and St. Louis.
Even severe weather in Missouri couldn’t stop the St. Louis concert, which moved from Saturday to Sunday due to storms and a power outage.
“Getting back out on the road is something the guys and I have been looking forward to for months, and the fans set the bar insanely high this weekend,” Dierks says. “The weather couldn’t even stop us for having the best first weekend I can remember in my career.”
“I can already tell this summer with [Jon] Pardi and Tenille [Townes] is going to be one we never forget,” he adds.
This week, Dierks plays Marty Stuart’s Late Night Jam at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium on Wednesday, before taking the main stage at CMA Fest at Nissan Stadium on Saturday.
The Burning Man Tour resumes June 13 in Brandon, Mississippi.
