ABC/Image Group LAChris Young continues to rack up career milestones.
The “Hangin’ On” hit maker recently surpassed two billion streams and 12 million singles sold across a career that includes 11 number ones. He was surprised with two plaques honoring the accomplishments during his Artist of the Day event at 2019 CMA Fest in Nashville.
“This is thanks to every single person here who has bought a CD, streamed a single or come to my concerts – I can’t thank you enough for all the support you’ve shown me and can’t wait to share more music with you soon!” he told fans at the event.
During CMA Fest week, Chris also debuted his new duet with Lauren Alaina, “Town Ain’t Big Enough,” and performed “Drowning” at the Grand Ole Opry.
Both songs will be included on Chris’ new album, Raised on Country, scheduled for release later this year.
