Dove ShoreChris Stapleton and Country Music Hall of Famers Vince Gill, Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson all appear on Sheryl Crow‘s upcoming all-star duets album, Threads, which will be released August 30.
Stapleton duets with Crow on the track “Tell Me When It’s Over,” while her new country single, “Prove You Wrong” with Maren Morris and Stevie Nicks, is already making its way up the chart. Previously, she also released “Redemption Day,” a duet with the late Johnny Cash.
Among the many other artists featured on Threads are Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Sting, Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh, James Taylor, rap legend Chuck D of Public Enemy, blues-rock guitarist Gary Clark Jr., R&B singer Andra Day, alt-rock singer, songwriter and guitarist St. Vincent and female alt-rock duo Lucius.
Crow has suggested that Threads may be her final album, although not her final recording.
