RiverHouse Artists/Columbia NashvilleLuke Combs’ debut album, This One’s for You, has been the most successful country album of the last several years, and The Prequel to his sophomore effort seems to be following in its footsteps.
This week, the North Carolina native’s new five-song EP debuts at #4 on the all-genre Billboard 200, having sold 48,000 units in its first seven days.
The Prequel EP also equals the success of the deluxe edition of Luke’s debut, titled This One’s for You Too, which emerged at #4 during its first week back in June of 2018 as well.
Last week, Thomas Rhett’s Center Point Road debuted at #1 on the same ranking. This week, the Jonas Brothers’ debuted at #1 with their comeback album Happiness Begins, blocking Luke’s chance at the top spot.
