ABC/Craig SjodinLuke Bryan moved from Georgia to Nashville to follow his musical dreams, but when he returned home to the Peach State for July 4, he became the pyro guy.
“Some of my favorite Fourth of July memories were spent on Lake Blackshear down in Georgia with all my family,” he recalls. “I was always kind of in charge of driving home from Tennessee and picking up all the fireworks.”
Luke says that was just fine with him, because it made him extra popular with the kids.
“My nieces and nephews always got excited when I rolled in because they knew I had all the fireworks,” he remembers.
“It was always a great memory, and I miss not getting to do that as much as we used to,” the “Knockin’ Boots” hitmaker admits.
Luke’s off this weekend to enjoy the Fourth, but he’ll be back at it on the Sunset Repeat Tour with Cole Swindell and newcomer Jon Langston come July 11 in Saratoga Springs, New York.
