Following the success of their latest chart-topper “Love Ain’t,” the four-member band have officially sent their follow-up single “Break It In” to country radio.
Penned by Benjy Davis, Michael Whitworth, Brandon Day and Daniel Ross, the reflective song uses metaphorical lyrics like a getting new guitar and learning to drive your first truck to describe how determination and patience helps one adjust to new experiences.
“We definitely didn’t just start a band and have instant success. We’ve continued to build it up over the years — we broke it in. We’ve been blessed to have had our moments of being able to sit back and soak it all in,” the band says. “‘Break It In’ carries a message you learn with time, and we’re so excited for these lyrics to be heard far and wide!”
“Love Ain’t” became the ACM Award-winning group’s first #1 hit in five years when it topped the Billboard Country Airplay chart earlier this year. They’re set to open for Chris Young on the Raised on Country Tour beginning in September.
