ABC/Image Group LAThough Kane Brown is balancing a hectic touring schedule with Jason Aldean, and preparing for the arrival of his and wife Katelyn‘s first child, a girl, the couple still makes date nights a priority.
In an interview with People, the breakthrough country star shares that their date night routine hasn’t been affected much by the pregnancy, except for one detail: Katelyn can’t indulge in a glass of wine.
“She doesn’t drink anymore, she’s a wine girl, and she can’t have any wine,” Kane reveals. “But other than that, it hasn’t really changed.”
Though Kane’s job as a country superstar keeps him on the road for a majority of the year, the couple finds time to explore the cities he tours in, striking a balance between activity and leisure.
“If there’s a cool Go-Kart track, we’ll go ride Go-Karts,” he explains. “We like to see movies and go out to eat. Depending on if there’s something iconic in the city, we’ll go check it out.”
Kane and Katelyn are one of several country couples who are part of a new promotion with the dating app Bumble. Each pair of winners will get to go on a double date with the couples, and Bumble will donate $25,000 to a charity they’re passionate about. In Kane and Katelyn’s case, it’s the Boys & Girls Club of America.
The other stars participating are engaged couples Michael Ray & Carly Pearce and Chris Lane & Lauren Bushnell, as well as married couple Scotty & Gabi McCreery.
