ABC/Image Group LAChris Janson has put a name to his new album.
The “Buy Me a Boat” singer has announced his third studio album will be called Real Friends. The title is inspired by the fact that he created the album alongside his close companions, including his wife Kelly, who served as the photographer for all of the album photos.
Additionally, Chris co-wrote the lead single “Good Vibes” with hit songwriters Ashely Gorley and Zach Crowell, and joined forces with Shy Carter and Tommy Cecil for two new tracks he shared recently: “Say About Me” and “Waitin’ on 5.”
“Real Friends is my favorite album I’ve made yet, hands down. I made Real Friends with actual real friends…I also have a huge collaboration on this album with one of my favorite ‘Ole’ friends!” Chris teases.
“I’m more excited about music now than I have been in all of my career. Thank you to my fans, who truly are my real friends and helped me get where I am today.”
Real Friends drops on October 18. Chris continues on the road with Chris Young‘s Raised on Country Tour through September.
