ABC/Mark Levine Thomas Rhett is turning into an “international fashion design mogul,” partnering with the weekend-wear brand Chubbies to launch his own line of swimsuits.
TR also jokes that he “dabble[s] in music from time to time” in a comic video that introduces The Rhettro Collection. The clip ends with him nonchalantly falling face-first into a swimming pool.
“How cool is it that I got to design a collection with a brand my whole family wears in real life?” he asks in a statement. “I am a huge fan of Chubbies. They speak to my lifestyle on the road of warm weather, summer and fun. I am really loving what we put together.”
The Rhettro Collection — inspired by the “radical gear of the classic ’90s weekend,” according to TR — includes matching men’s and boy’s swim trunks, as well as well as coordinating women’s and girl’s one-piece swimsuits. All the designs feature a melon and lime-green pattern on a lavender background.
