“Hell Right”: Blake Shelton’s hinting his new song may be controversial

Warner Music NashvilleBlake Shelton’s new single, “Hell Right,” which features Trace Adkins, is set to arrive on Friday.

On Tuesday, the Oklahoma native took to Twitter to voice his anticipation about the song — and to hint that it may raise some eyebrows.

“So damn excited for y’all to hear ‘Hell Right’ that literally I can’t believe it,” he writes…and that’s where things get interesting.

“Oh and my apologies ahead of time to a few of the ‘purest’ bloggers of country music because this one’s really gonna make you cry,” he adds.

“That’s MY apology,” Blake goes on. “Trace doesn’t give a s***…. Hell Right.”

When a follower inquired as to what a “purest blogger” is, Blake replied, “I don’t know.”

On Monday, his record company put out a fifteen-second snippet of the song’s beginning, which starts with the sound of crickets and Trace asking him to “Tell ‘em that story you were telling me.”

Stay tuned to see what develops ahead of the release of “Hell Right” on Friday.
