ABC/Image Group LA Things will be decidedly different at this year’s CMA Awards, with Brad Paisley sitting out the co-hosting gig for the first time in twelve years. Instead, Carrie Underwood will be joined by Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire during a night that pays tribute to country music’s biggest female names. But Brad seems O.K. with it.
While fans will no doubt miss his trademark parodies and sense of humor, the West Virginia native is already reaching out to support Carrie and the two legends.
“As a fan of all 3 of these amazing women, I can’t wait to watch,” he tweeted Monday, along with the CMA’s promo for the show.
The 53rd annual CMA Awards will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 13 starting at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
