Fire officials determine cause of Monday night barn fire
It looks like Monday evening’s barn fire in rural Hanson County was accidental. That’s the word from Mitchell Fire Marshal Shannon Sandoval. “We found an area of origin,” said Sandoval. “We do believe it to be some sort of an electrical malfunction.” He says several farm animals died in the blaze.
