Best Week Ever: "Black" Is Definitely Dierks Bentley's Color

ABC/Image Group LAIt looks like Black is definitely Dierks Bentley’s color. This week, his latest project officially becomes the fastest-selling one of his career, debuting at number one on both Billboard’s all-genre Top Album Sales chart and the country ranking as well. Only Drake’s powerhouse Views record keeps him from topping the Billboard 200 too.

Dierks has a date Wednesday night to perform his collection’s second single, “Different for Girls” with “Ex’s & Oh’s” powerhouse Elle King. There’s no word yet on whether she might stick around for his Thursday-night set at CMA Music Festival.

Blake Shelton: Fully-Clothed Underwear Model

ABC/Image Group LAIf the phrase “Blake Shelton: underwear model” brings to mind visions of the country crooner in his skivvies, well, Mr. “Came Here to Forget” says you’ve got it all wrong.  While Blake’s a spokesperson for Gildan underwear, you’re not going to see him half-naked in ads any time soon.

“You’ve got all these underwear commercials these days with guys in just underwear, nothing else. Come on. I mean, underwear really isn’t underwear if it’s not under something! That’s what it’s for,” he points out in his commercial for the brand.

“How about a commercial where you wear underwear like it’s really worn?” the fully-clothed singer asks. “Well, here you have it! I’m Blake Shelton, and I’m modeling my underwear!”

You can check out Blake’s humorous take on undergarments on YouTube now.

"Summer" Lovin': Cassadee Pope Relives Her Beachside Romances

Big Machine Label GroupCassadee Pope gets personal on “Summer,” the follow-up to her number one duet with Chris Young.  It’s all about her love life growing up by the ocean in the Sunshine State.

“I wrote it from personal experience. I mean, there’s been those summer romances, growing up in Florida by the beach,” she tells ABC Radio. “And it’s just a song about reminiscing on those times and how those summer flings can be so passionate and powerful, but they can end as quickly as they begin.”

Picking out a leading man to relive those experiences with in the video for the song turned out to not be a bad gig at all.

“I shot the video in Clearwater, Florida. I’m from West Palm Beach, Florida, so it just felt right and fitting and very special. But when I wrote the song, I felt like this video has to be very vivid and it has to go along with the lyrics because they’re so colorful and they really tell the story specifically,” Cassadee explains.

“So I had a guy come in that we chose from casting that I thought fit the part very well, and we just spent the whole day running around town, um, being romantic.”  She laughs, “I’ll leave it at that!”

You can check out the video for “Summer” on YouTube now. It’s from Cassadee’s just-released four-song EP of the same title.
