MITCHELL, S.D. (AP) — A water main break flooded at least three Main Street businesses in Mitchell.
The flooding Monday night ruined merchandise and forced businesses to close early.
Harve’s Sport Shop owner Jim Johnston estimates that more than 1,000 gallons of water flooded his store. He says it was “kind of disheartening.”
The water also affected the VFW and Mitchell’s Float Spa.
