Miranda Lambert May Have Something New for the Turntable

ABC/Image Group LA It looks like it may not be long until there’s a new release from Miranda Lambert. The six-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year promised there was new music coming soon back in June at CMA Music Festival, and ads in Tuesday’s country music trade publications seem to indicate it’s on its way.

The cryptic ad is a photo of a vinyl record playing on a turntable, with Miranda’s crossed double-winged pistols logo on its label. The type simply reads “33 – 45 – 78,” which of course are the speeds of typical albums. The Texas native-turned-Nashville resident also discussed the possibility of re-releasing her earlier catalog on vinyl at CMA Music Festival a month ago.
