“I wrote ‘Life Changes” about what is going on in my life at this very exact moment,” the “Unforgettable” singer told E! News. “I felt like it was the perfect title track for the album. In the past year there have been so many dramatic and beautiful changes that I’ve experienced, from becoming a father not once but twice, to reaching some major milestones in my career as an artist and songwriter. I’m just trying to soak it all in and enjoy every minute of it.”
In addition to picking up the Male Vocalist trophy at this year’s ACM Awards, TR and his wife, Lauren, adopted daughter Willa from a Ugandan orphanage back in May, just before the birth of their first biological child — a little girl named Ada — in August.
The entire family is also featured on the cover of the new issue of People, just out this week.
