ABC/Image Group LABrad Paisley will headline a special Sunday-night edition of the Grand Ole Opry next month to help the fight against cancer.
The “Last Time for Everything” hitmaker is this year’s spokesperson for Band Against Cancer, a campaign to raise awareness about available treatments by Sarah Cannon, which is the Cancer Institute of HCA Healthcare. Sarah Cannon, of course, was the real name of the Grand Ole Opry legend better known as Minnie Pearl.
Brad’s tour mate, Chase Bryant, and Tyler Farr will join him for the October 1 show, with tickets going on sale Thursday.
This is the second year for the event at the Opry. Martina McBride played the 2016 edition.
