The GreenRoomKip Moore is not one to shy away from helping others.
Following the devastation in Texas after Hurricane Harvey, the “More Girls Like You” singer will be donating proceeds from Sunday’s Music City Skate Jam to those impacted by the hurricane. Entry is now free and open to the public with the hope to encourage those in attendance to donate.
The singer will host the event with international skateboarding champion Tony Hawk in Walk of Fame Park in Nashville. Doors open at 3 p.m. CT with music from Dee Jay Silver. Newcomer Jordan Davis will perform at 5:25 p.m. before Tony and fellow skateboarders offer a skate demo. Kip will close out the evening with his headlining set at 7 p.m.
In addition to raising money for hurricane relief, the day will bring awareness to Moore’s Kip’s Kids Fund and Hawk’s Tony Hawk Foundation, which both help provide inner city kids a safe outlet after school to skateboard with the creation of skate parks.
