ABC/Image Group LAKip Moore and Chris Stapleton are two of three country artists to land on Entertainment Weekly’s 25 Best Albums of 2017 list. An impressive feat for the country singers, EW raves about both Kip’s third studio album, Slowheart, and Chris’ joint effort of From A Room: Volume 1 and From A Room: Volume 2.
Kip lands at #24 on the list, with EW noting that his album includes “thirteen heartland-rock tracks that make up the most thrilling set of his career.”
Meanwhile, Chris is ranked at #9 for his two album releases this year.
“Though he’s long been one of Nashville’s favorite songwriters, Stapleton didn’t pen a single new tune for its follow-up,” writes EW. “Instead, he looked to the vault and culled his finest drafts from the last decade…for two epic LPs this year.”
Country/Americana music darling Margo Price also makes an appearance on the list at #5 with her critically acclaimed album, All American Made. For the complete list, visit Entertainment Weekly.
