FGL turns the Key West Songwriters Festival into a chance to help victims of Hurricane Irma

BMIFlorida Georgia Line will kick off this year’s Key West Songwriters Festival with a benefit to help the victims of Hurricane Irma.

“Not many people know that when FGL first started playing shows, we would pile in to BK’s Tahoe and head south to perform in the bars and clubs all around Key West,” Tyler Hubbard says. “So this place is a really special one for us.”

“We believe that music is healing,” Brian Kelley continues, “and are beyond blessed to bring our Nashville community to Key West in support of the relief efforts. Spreading the love to a place that first welcomed us and our music completes the circle in a way. We’re looking forward to being back.”

Morgan Wallen, RaeLynn and more will join FGL for the Wednesday, May 9, show at San Carlos Theater in Key West. Money raised will go to Keys Strong Hurricane Relief.

LANCO, Walker Hayes and Ashley McBryde are set to play other events during the May 9-13 gathering. You can find out more about the 23rd Annual Key West Songwriters Festival online.
