The GreenRoomDierks Bentley‘s forthcoming album, The Mountain, was inspired by the time he spent in Telluride, Colorado, and now he wants to share that experience with his fans. The Arizona native is staging his very own Seven Peaks Music Festival in Buena Vista, Colorado on Labor Day weekend.
“This is a dream come true for me,” Dierks says of the three-day event. “It’s no secret that I love everything about Colorado… the fans, the venues we’ve played and of course, the landscape. We are bringing it all together with this festival.”
Dierk’s Mountain High tour mates Brothers Osborne and LANCO will be on hand for the festival, along with his “Different for Girls” duet partner Elle King. Miranda Lambert, Del McCoury Band, Sam Bush, The Cadillac Three and others will also join the party, with Dierks playing multiple sets throughout the weekend.
“It’s our own field of dreams,” Dierks says of the festival. “…We are putting everything we have into it, with no details overlooked, in hopes it is the ultimate festival experience.”
He continues, “I personally will be right in there with our fans listening to best musicians, taking advantage of the unlimited outdoor opportunities including hiking, biking and playing in the river and lake…or maybe just sitting with a cold one all day in the Colorado sunshine and under the Rocky Mountain stars.”
Tickets go on sale April 20 for the August 31-September 2 event.
