“Triple Live” and a date with the Fighting Irish: Garth promises all the details next Monday

ABC RadioNext Monday, we’ll find out the exact date for the massive concert Garth Brooks is planning at Notre Dame Stadium, at the home of the Fighting Irish. The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year promises to announce more details during a news conference in South Bend, Indiana.

We should also find out more about the upcoming live album he’s been working on, made up of performances from his World Tour that wrapped in December.

Triple Live is comin’. And it’s coming soon,” Garth says. “Triple Live is going to be full of surprises, and hopefully all the stuff that you come to the show for, too. It is going to be kinda like all of the old stuff and the new stuff put together. So, after this last three-year tour, Triple Live is coming.”

Expect more information during Garth’s next edition of Inside Studio G, which starts at 7 p.m. ET Monday night on Facebook.

Here’s what we know so far: Garth’s previously said he envisions the new album having multiple collectible covers, like 1998’s Double Live record. Since the new project is titled Triple Live, it stands to reason that it may very well contain enough material to fill three discs.
