Novak pleads guilty to manslaughter

A South Dakota man accused of killing a woman last year has pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter. Thirty-three-year-old Matthew Novak of Woonsocket entered his plea as part of a plea deal. Attorney General Marty Jackley announced that the South Dakota Supreme Court has affirmed the conviction and sentence of Maricela Nicolasa Diaz for the murder of Jasmine Guevara. Diaz, Ft.
